Manufacturing & Operations Consulting

Manufacturing & Operations Consulting

Based in Istanbul, we help manufacturing teams improve production workflows, BOM control, engineering changes and supplier coordination. We connect process discipline, reliable product data and clear ownership around the operational problem that matters most.

What We Support

From the factory floor to the operating model.

Manufacturing performance depends on more than individual production steps. Product data, materials, suppliers, planning, engineering changes, quality and cross-functional coordination all need to work together.

Our approach focuses on identifying operational bottlenecks, strengthening process discipline and creating practical structures that improve efficiency, visibility and execution.

Core Areas

Operational capabilities designed around the production system.

Engagements may focus on one specific problem or combine several areas depending on the organization’s operational priorities.

01

Production Process Optimization

Review production workflows, identify bottlenecks and reduce non-value-added activities to improve operational flow and productivity.

02

BOM & Product Data Management

Improve Bill of Materials structures, component naming, numbering, revision control and product-data governance.

03

Engineering Change Management

Establish clearer change-control processes, ownership, approvals and traceability across engineering and production environments.

04

Production Planning

Strengthen planning structures and align materials, resources and production capacity with demand and operational priorities.

05

Supplier & Supply Chain Coordination

Improve supplier structures, alternative sourcing, coordination and operational resilience across the supply network.

06

Quality & Approval Processes

Standardize component, sample and quality-control workflows to improve decision-making and reduce production risk.

07

Prototype to Mass Production

Build the processes, BOM structures, specifications and ownership required for a controlled transition from development to scalable production.

08

Operational Standardization

Create repeatable structures, workflows and governance models that reduce variation and support sustainable performance improvement.

Typical Outcomes

Better control. Better flow. Better decisions.

Higher Operational Efficiency Reduced bottlenecks, duplication and unnecessary process steps.
Improved Product Data Accuracy Stronger BOM, component and revision-management structures.
Greater Supply Resilience More structured supplier management and reduced dependency risk.
Faster Cross-Functional Execution Clearer ownership, workflows and communication between teams.
Reduced Production Risk Better approval, change-control and standardization processes.
Our Approach

We improve the system, not only the individual process.

Operational problems rarely exist in isolation. A production delay may originate in product data, supplier coordination, unclear ownership, planning logic or change management rather than on the production line itself.

We therefore look across the full operating environment, identify where value is being lost and design the process, governance or system changes needed to improve performance.

Depending on the challenge, this may include workflow redesign, system integration, data structures, digital tools, supplier processes, governance mechanisms or capability development.

Start with a specific production problem

BOM and revision mismatches

Engineering, procurement and manufacturing work from different product revisions. Trace the release and approval process before redesigning the controls.

Uncontrolled engineering changes

A change reaches one supplier or location without a clear effective date, material disposition or implementation confirmation.

Planning and supplier handoff gaps

Production priorities, material availability and supplier commitments are disconnected. Identify where the information or decision flow breaks down.

Practical deliverables for your production team

  • A process and bottleneck assessment with prioritized actions.
  • BOM and revision-control rules, including release ownership.
  • An engineering change workflow with approvals, effective dates and supplier confirmation.
  • A planning and supplier coordination responsibility map.
  • A KPI baseline and pilot review covering the agreed production problem.

The initial discussion defines which deliverables fit your environment. Measures may include approval lead time, schedule adherence, rework or product-data discrepancies.

Experience behind the approach

Our advisory approach draws on our founder Cenk Yılgör’s prior experience in manufacturing program management, product data, engineering changes, supplier coordination and customer operations. This experience predates YILCORE; project scope and expected results are agreed separately for each engagement.

Questions before we begin

Can you work across multiple manufacturers?

The scope can cover cross-site release controls, supplier handoffs and shared process ownership. Access, responsibilities and coordination requirements are agreed at the start.

Do we have to replace our ERP?

No. Process controls and product-data discipline can be improved within existing systems. Integration needs are assessed separately.

Where is operational performance being lost?

Let’s identify the bottleneck and design the right improvement path.
